Im Back!

Well we are back from Kenosha, WI...we got in about 11am on Saturday with time to relax- Dad and Jessa tooks naps and Joleesa, Mom and I went to Target and Im proud of myself I didnt buy anything. Went back to the hotel and got ready for church. There was a nice turn out for the Saturday youth rally. The first session was a real good class on knowing your enemy and then that night mom preached a really good message on the sriputer...

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
(1 Kings 18:21)

It was a really good message with a really good alter call. It was Jessa's birthday as you all know and so we had cake and ice cream upstairs and play a hilerous game of Catch Phrase... we bought this electronic verision of it and it had some intresting words to get people to say...suprisingly sports turned out to be the easiest one to do. Then we went back to the hotel and slept- the beds were so hard though I guess it didn't bother me to bad because I actually feel asleep before 12 am and only woke up coughing once. Yeah I am still sick though it is mostly just a nasty old cough then anything else.

Sunday morning was sunday school and then dad preached a really good message about Isaac and the wells and how we need to be thristy for more from God- we need to go to the source and not try to quench our thirst with past experiances...it was really good. Then we waited at Cracker Barall for over an hour before getting seated- had some wonderful fellowship and then headed out into a really bad snow storm. At one point dad was wondering if we were going to have to pull off for the night and get a hotel room and wait out the storm but strangely the farther north we got the better it got so we are now home in our nice warm house and with perfect snow outside to make a snowman- nice and wet. :D but I doubt any of us will go out and make one and if we dont do it tomorrow I don't know how long it will stay. We got a good amount of snow but its March so its warmer and won't take long for it to melt. I want spring though as pretty as it all the snow is I want to put away my warm coat and go around in short sleeves.
