I was looking for a verse and actually I still haven't found it but I came across these verses....
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-4)
Its odd and amazing how something you read often in the Bible doesn't speak to you but then something happens and your life and see the verses in a whole other way and are able to apply them to your life and use them for encouragement and comfort. Tonight was one of those nights that though the day was great when it came to be on my own in my own little world and dwelling on something I needed the extra comfort.
I don't want to be weakened by all the negatives but I want to grasp hold of the positive, the promises that this verse holds- with every valley must mean there is a mountain- you can't have one with out the other but He promises to lead you through the valley and He doesn't leave you when you once you reach the mountain top.
I struggle with asking God "why" all of the time and I've never been one to like the answer "because" :) I've had to learn the full meaning of faith this year and it hasn't been easy but when God breaks you down He'll build you back up. So this is the time of building up for me.
My prayer tonight as I sit here awake and as I think about something Alaena and I talked about tonight-
Lord continue to be my strength, you know the scars you know what still needs to heal. Continue to mold me into who you want to be and Lord I pray that I can be submissive to your will and allow you to fully work in my life as never before. Let this be my time to grow in you. Let me get past the time to heal and unto building and strengthens my walk with you.
Amen
