We Bought Something... Its Kind of BIG

Long and slow day... I woke up at 5:30 because I was suppose to go with mom to help out at the optimist club Easter breakfast that they put on for the kids in the community. The last two years I've gone and helped I've ended up in an Easter Bunny costume and the kids took pictures with me. I didn't go this year because of my shoulder...I wasn't comfortable with the idea of holding little babies with one arm and not being able to see - I wouldn't want to put my child(if i had one) in the hands of a one arm blind person :P So I went back to bed and didn't get up till almost noon. I was about to take a bubble bath and mom comes in and starts yelling for Jes and I to get ready something was waiting for us outside. Want to know what was waiting for us.... look below....

Yup mom and dad picked us up as they were test driving this. After several hours at the car dealer ship we now own this truck. After almost 25 years of marriage, 3 kids later dad finally has his truck. The thing is big no huge- it doesn't even fit in our garage. Actually if you look at one of the pictures there is only a few feet difference between the roof of the house and the bed of the truck. At the dealership they had a BMW and 2 Corvettes that I wish I had had my camera with because I so wanted to sit in it and get my picture taken. They would have let me to :P oh well:P

So though the day was long and has crawled by slower then a snail its been anything but boring.

I don't think I have anything more intresting then all of that so everyone have a good day :D

That is a beautiful truck. If your Dad is anything like my husband, he will still be grinning from ear to ear this time next week. I am so happy for you guys.

How are you feeling? Still in a lot of pain?

*Big Smile* yeah I think that will be the case...he keeps getting up and looking out the window- I just have to laugh.

I'm ok- the pain isn't as bad as yesterday but thats honestly not saying much- I over did it by climbing in and out of that monster of truck. Being short takes alot of arm strength to get in it :)

Yeah sigh. I look like a midget next to it. I need a step stool to get into but I really love driving it. I can actually see out the window without sitting on a pillow. *smile*

You mean you get to drive it?

My name's on that loan too and on that title too. So yup every other day *smile*. Just not with him anywhere near. I'm not sure who would have the heart attack first, him worrying over me driving it or me by getting upset with him telling how to even breathe in it *laughing and shaking head*

I'm guessing this is Matt :P if I'm wrong thats nothing new :P

Yes its a pretty slick truck and I doubt he'll ever feel the need to trade it - its his baby right now.

Normally the new cars, vans mom gets to drive all of the time- just seems to work that way- NOT this time- this is dads!!
