I'm sitting in class drinking an interesting tasting energy drink, eating the last of my gummy bears and listening to Bro. Werkheiser talk about his last mission trip to Guiana, Africa...I love hearing about this kind of stuff.
Speaking of missions it looks like the news is out. I was able tell by word of mouth here at BTI but wasn't sure wither or not I was allowed to say anything on my blog. Well my parents now have a blog (www.notmywillbutthine.blogspot.com) and considering they shared it on there I figured it was save now for me to do that as well.
My family and I following the assembly will be moving to Anchorage, Alaska....This is where those that haven't heard yet mouths drop open- trust me that's what I did when I was told that my father had been offered the Anchorage church. Though I think what shocked me most wasn't the idea of it but that from the second my parents told us about the offer it felt right. I've spent the last several months praying what my parents blog says "Lord not thine will but thine be done"- You know that question on the ministers and teacher license that is taken seriously but still joked about..."Are you free from self will"....Well last year a friend of mine was filling his out and I picked on him and said "So if God sends you to Alaska you'll go" :P - talk about eating my words ~hehe~
I'm excited about the move and I'm even more excited to have the news out :P ever try to keep a secret like this for almost 3 months- its hard :P
SISTER ANNETTE CALL ME PLEASE!!!
the service time has been changed to 6 p.m.
Last night at the Munoz's was nice- it was a beautiful night and the fire flies were out and its been ages sense I've seen and tried to catch one...I was so tired though and their couch was so comfy that I feel asleep while checking the blogs- no your blogs aren't boring- I was just tired.
Yesterday Alaena's battery went dead in her car-I guess when Bethany and I used it to get Steele his birthday balloons and gift that we turned the lights on or something and died- I don't know. Anyway Bro. Smith and Bro. Werkheiser helped Dustin get it going- Bro. Smith used Coke to fix it ~hehe~ while they were working on that I was talking with Sis. Smith and today during lunch I'm going to help her change her blog template and background... I love doing this kind of stuff and I have a feeling that working with Sis. Smith on it will be fun :o)
Tonight is Communion and Feet Washing- Bro. H.L. Canon and Bro. Walters will be doing the service- I'm looking forward to it...Though I'm still not use to doing Communion and feet washing with so many people...
Some may know this about me but if those at BTI didn't know before they have found out in the last so many days...I HATE BEING LATE FOR CHURCH....Actually I hate being late for anything it drives me nuts...Now we haven't been late every day and there was a few times we've walked in with just a few minutes to spare but even that just gets to me. Maybe it has to do with being the Pastors daughter and always having to be on time to open the church- I don't know but after like 10 days coming in just in time and being late today has tested my patience :P- sorry didn't mean to vent ... Moving on
I guess tomorrow we are playing soft ball again- not sure if I can take doing that again...And on Friday as soon as tests are done I guess we are playing volleyball...When did everyone get so sporty :P we had to beg people the last 2 years to get a basketball game together and even then it was just a few of us that got together :P
I'm all sported out- I actually need to see if I have enough money left to go get me a cheap pair of tennis shoes- I packed my work shoes (steel toed- stupid me) and I think that maybe how I got the bruise on my toe from them hitting up against the toe piece...I don't know why everyone is wanting to play again- yesterday many was moaning and groaning that they hurt and were soar :P
Yay!! I think my energy drink is kicking in- Why didn't I figure this out on Friday :P though I haven't fallen asleep yet- but I've come close... and I haven't gotten sick either- which is all an improvement from last year... Though I think when I get back I'm going to need at least 2 days to get caught up on this lack of sleep before doing anything ...Please mom give me a little time before putting me to work packing :oP
I know this is getting long but I have to tell you about two devotions that were done today and I believe on Monday. The theme for devotions has been about vision- taking phyiscal vision problems and applying them to the spiritual. Monday Bro. Castellanos talked about "color blindness" oh it was goood. He referred to the flag. We find it easy to see the red and white and even the purple but but yet allow color blindness to set in and hinder us from seeing th Blue (truth) and then went on to have Bro. Wilda and Bro. Forbes (overseer of the Turks and Cacous- a black man if you didn't know) come up and he stood beside them and said that we're not suppose to look at the three of them and see black, white and brown but that when we look at men and women in the church we need to see Blue...
Then Sis. Kelley Peters had this mornings devotion and talked about "double vision" that the Devil will throughs punches and put things in our lives that look like, talks like, acts like the church but when you get down to it its nothing like the church...There is only 1 body, only 1 God, only 1 bride and thus only 1 church and that we can't let ourselves to allow the Devil to give us double vision to confuse us and to affect our visions.
I know I've only told you about a few devotions but they've all been good, they've all left us with plenty of food for thought. Its just some have stood out to me more then others.
I think this is the longest post in a while....Oh sorry I don't think that there will be pictures today- I haven't downloaded any from my camera and I don't know that I have any real thrilling ones...Plus I've got to stop taking so many pictures :P or I'll never be able to burn everyone cds before they leave...Actually I have a feeling I'm going to have to mail out cds to people because at the moment its 3 cds worth of pictures and videos and each one takes about 5 minutes....and I've got only 2 days left ...you can figure that dilemma out....
I am glad that you are all enjoying the pictures- I am enjoying the responses to them...

Increase your font size a notch and I can read it just fine. I can read it as it is, I just have to get a bit closer to the screen. ~grin~
I hate being late too and my room mate for BTI wasn't as motivated as I was to get there with plenty of time to spare, so my longsuffering got tried a few times, but we all survived it, just as you will. ~hee hee~
I cannot believe that the time has flown so fast and you are getting ready to graduate 3rd term in two days. Wow! It seems like yesterday that you were packing up to go and missing a shoe. ~sorry...couldn't resist!~
Enjoy your last few days!
Maybe as you get "packing" to move the "famous shoe" will appear *smile*.
Miss you Jenna. Micah was a great replacement for a day or two but it seems like forever since you left.
Love ya,
Mom
Oh by the way, I agree with MT, please make your font bigger. Maybe I won't have to squint. Is this a picture you took or one you found?
Mom
