Past Due Up Date

I'm so sorry that I haven't posted sense Friday morning its been crazy busy....Things to do places to go ;) ~hehe~

Friday after tests Bethany and I went shopping before church which was fun. That night was 3rd terms service- I had a testimony to do and from what folks say it was a testimony slash devotion. I was so nervous but God helped me through it. One thing I don't like about testifying like that is all the people that come to you and say "You did a great job" "I really enjoyed that..." I don't know what to say to that. Bro. Paul Horton preached about Showers of Blessings and that he loves to be blested by the Holy Ghost but that its not about the shout. Zeal is a good thing to have but zeal without wisdom is dangerous. It was a really good service.

Saturday we had a horrible hail storm. 3rd term class room is upstairs in the committee room and the hail hitting the tin roof made it sound like baseballs being pelted. After class we only had 3 hrs before service (that's not much time :P btw) so we went out to eat and then went to Pathway Bookstore and I was a good girl and didn't buy the whole bookstore :o) actually I only bought 1 book and a cd. That night service was really good Bro. Risch preached and I feel horrible because I can't remember what he preached about. At the end of his message we had a prayer line (not like the one at the assembly) It was wonderful...Jessy almost got the Holy Ghost bless her heart she is not giving up- I spent lunch time with her praying in the chapel and then again last night... It would be so wonderful if she got the Holy Ghost before BTI was over.

Last night -nothing real interesting happened before church other then Steele, Bethany and I walking around Walmart . Last night Bro. Smith preached and he talked about that we need to be like Christ. That its not just the responsibility of the leadership to be like Christ but the members too. Its been mentioned several times that the Church will go on with or without us so. Its our responsibility for our personal condition. I've really enjoyed the services this year they have been wonderful.

I don't know how many of you have looked at my pictures but there is one of "Gumbee" well Gumbee started out just a silly toy but some how turned into the entertainment for many. There is actually a whole folder (possibly even a whole cd worth) of pictures and videos of the crazy, stupid things the guys have done to gumbee. I would try to explain it but it would take to long and chances are you would still not understand :) plus I think the fact that its funny and entertaining is because we all are starting to get really tired and haven't managed to catch up on sleep...I would say that would improve but Bethany moves in with us tonight so....Just kidding...
