A lot has happened in the last two days...
I'll try to remember it all... Saturday mom woke me up at 7 am to help her get all of the stuff out for the sale...I wasn't to happy about getting woke up even though I went to bed about 8:30-9 pm Friday night but I was also making up for the night before so the sleep was very much needed... so I go everything done I needed to do for her and went back to bed and slept for another 3 hrs. I got up and mom was sitting at the computer- She closed down the sale- turns out she only had it open an hr :0P and nobody bought anything so she brought everything in but forgot to close the garage door... I hear someone walking around in our garage and so I went to go check what was up and sold $8.60 I was proud of myself.
After that Steele Williams talked me into and then helped me download Microsoft 2007 (beta) which turned out to take a lot longer then I thought it would. I had to leave my computer up to let it finish downloading while Jessa and I went to Perkins for lunch and then met up with mom and dad in order to go to a graduation party. Came back home to pick up my camera, the step stole so my grandma could get into truck, and a bag of books or something for my other grandma. The program had finish downloading (took a little less then 3 hrs- which is not good because we have cable) but I couldn't do anything with it cuz we then left to go visit Grandma and Grandpa and then to pick up Grandma Nowling.
It was really the first time that I ridden very far in the truck other then when I got picked up from the airport and I was to tired to remember that...But I hope the ride in that thing gets better once there is a load in the back...I've never really been one to get car sick (unless the driver is purposely trying to make everyone sick by they're driving :P) but being bounced around the back of the truck was horrible but dad promises that it'll be better with load in the bed of the the truck...I sure hope so because the thought of 7 straight days of that is making me sick just thinking about it...
We got to the nursing home and visisted with Grandma and Grandpa for about 2 hrs which I think that's the best visit I've ever had with them. They were both so happy and neither one of the cried which was nice (they both are very emotional people) Im going to post pictures on my photo blog of that visit.
Then we left to pick up Grandma Nowling and go to Ben Louy's or something like that- THE BEST CHINESE PLACE EVER- whenever we go to Grandma Nowling we go to this place...I remember a time we had picked Grayson up from the airport and had Grandma with us so that he could meet her and then we were going to take him to Ben Louy's- we get there and we're all excited about it and turned out that they were closed- who isn't open on Mondays that's craziness... so yeah I was happy that I got to go with them this trip so I could have Ben Louys the last time they went was while I was at BTI...
We got home and I went right to bed-
Then yesterday was father's day and I had gotten dad a new Caribou Coffee travel mug -their newest one it was really nice but he already knew about it because he kind of picked it out- they had two different styles and I didn't know which one he preferred so I just asked him there was no way for me to buy it with out him knowing anyways. After church we came home and we all took short naps then got ready for the Drums Along the Red Cedar- Drum and Bugle Corp competition - I loved it - it was worth sitting on metal bleachers for 4 hrs while my parents sat in the press box :oP I wasn't suppose to take pictures but I did- this will be my last time getting to go and I didn't want to forget it.
Mom works for the Dunn County News (DCN) which was a core sponsors of the event and so she got to present the medals along with a few other people. I went down on the field next to the DCN photographer in order to get pictures of mom presenting the awards. The top two corps come out on the field and all of the Drum Majors lined up and before the medals were handed out I was beckoned over to the table and the lady and charge was like I want you to present the silver medal to the division 2 Corp winner- I was in shock it was so cool - One of the coolest things I've ever gotten to do. I then was able to stay on the field while the winning corpse drum line performed and then the top two corps did a special together and I even was brave enough to take pictures- it was awesome...Though I am bummed that it will be the last one I'll get to go too. I likely doubt that they have things like this in Alaska- its ok I'll find something new that I love just as much. Pictures of that will be on my photoblog as well.
I got home from that and we went to clean the DCN and then I climbed into bed with the intent of just downloading pictures and then going to bed... I didn't got to bed till 4am- got to talking to Jared and Grayson online and they had me laughing so hard I seriously was afraid I was going to wake Joleesa up. When I finally did go to bed my head hit the pillow and I was out.
Now I am up and today im doing my all of my laundry, going to attempt to clean my room (don't ask why it'll be just an attempt), type up the list of books I've been promising Gracie for a very long time, email some pictures out, get pictures on my photo blog and mom wants a few pictures I have put on heres and then who knows what else.
Wednesday is the charity Golf tournament that I get to work at I am really looking forward have been sense April when I was told about it.
So thats whats been up.... I need to get going on stuff
Oh Im actually sitting at my desk on my computer- that is a first in probably well a very long time-
