Boxes, Bubble Wrap, and Packing Peanuts

Guess what I did today...I know not to hard to figure out- I continued to pack and the miracle of the day is I can see my carpet....

This is my sorting process from yesterday- and believe it or not it got worse :-P everything hanging in my closet got taken out and put in one of three stacks. By the time I got everything out and sorted my floor had disappeared never to be seen again...or so I thought.

What cant be seen is the stack of boxes, bags of packing peanuts, and the pile of bubble wrap. Who ever created packing peanuts and bubble wrap was a genius. I don't know if you can see well enough in the first picture but I have a unique lamp that is made out of an old wash bowl and pitcher. Thanks to the creation of packing peanuts and bubble wrap I was able to pack it well enough that I feel confident that it won't break. Praying that it'll get there in one piece- its one of my favorite things in my room.
This is the result of today- its not done by no means but its so much better then yesterday. I am hoping that I'll be able to get the boxes and tote out out of my room tomorrow - so I have more space because what's left is little things that I cant get to because I've got to climb around and over the boxes and the tote. I have an old beat up steamer trunk in my room at the end of my bed- which doesn't show up in the pictures because I believe its covered in clothes
hehe- and with much thought I've decided to put it in the thrift sale and see if we can sell it- I love the old beat up look but when I look at it I know its not something I need and I know the space it will take up. If it doesn't sell then I'll see if they can fit it in the trailer. If it doesn't fit there is a store here in town that take donated stuff- sell it and give the money to "The Bridge" which is a place for battered women and they use the money to help these women start new lives. Can't help but be okay with helping out something like that. I'm ready to have everything packed- especially my room- our house is back to filling cluttered, messy and like its going to close in on me.

Oh I have a new friend. He's living in my closet but is about to get an eviction notice. Mozart- the cricket in my closet- is one smart cricket. I try to find him by following the noise and just when I think I've found him he gets quite and confuses me. If he doesn't willing leave by next weekend- well hopefully the bug bomb will help move him out.

Oh and Gracie- see the stack of books on top of my desk- all yours :-D

well that has been my day...Its 1:30 am and Im past ready to go to bed. Hopefully Mozart will go to sleep because if he doesn't I won't be able to :(

Have a good day tomorrow- or wait today :D
