DEE HENDERSON'S NEW BOOK IS OUT!!!!!
I don't know how long its been out... but Alaena just told me that its out and I'm like beyond excited.
Sadly though I am broker then broke and have no money to go buy it...Which is such a same. But on the bright side of things all of my books arrived in that shipment of 27 boxes mom mentioned so the rest of my Dee Henderson books are back in my hands again !! YAY!!!
The other thing is we experienced our first earthquake - actually we experience 2 of them and guess what we didn't know anything about it until we watched the news ~LOL~ the first one was a 4.3 and the other was a 3.1 I guess. Matthew says those are medium size quakes I wouldn't know considering I didn't even realize we had one let alone 2!!

You'll definitely notice it when it hits 6.0 and up. I am entirely too earthquake sensitive after living in Guam and Okinawa. Now, all my husband or sons have to do to freak me out is start bouncing their leg without me seeing them (on a floor that isn't exactly solid) and I think that we are having an earthquake. NOT GOOD! They think that it is hilarious though.
I was kind of bummed that we didn't feel it considering it wasn't a major one. I guess though if you were over by Earthquake park they were able to feel it (der)
I'm sorry Momma Tammi but thats funny. You may not want to sit by me then I have a tendancy to bounce my leg ~giggle~
While we were playing "I Buy" with the Doran's, I felt the floor moving and the table shaking, so I looked under the table and sure enough, there was my husband, bouncing his leg. Drummers, especially, have this thing about bouncing one leg ALL the time and since I live with three drummers, they do it unconciously and it drives me nuts. However, that isn't near as funny as sitting at the table, doing schoolwork and Darren starts, furiously erasing a mistake while Jeremy is concentrating very hard on a problem, and when Jeremy felt the table start shaking violently, he jumped up, ran to the doorjam yelling, "EARTHQUAKE!" It was really hilarious, but at the same time, the kid was terrified, so I felt kind of bad while laughing hysterically at him.
Who won the "IBuy" game???
I take you've guys have experianced alot of earthquakes to be that jumpy about them. Poor thing I probably would have been the same way :P but its still funny- the mental picture that came to mind was hilarious :-D
We went through quite a few earthquakes on Guam. The worst being an 8.1 that lasted for 60 seconds, exactly. The earthquake, in and of itself, didn't do me in, it was the many, many aftershocks over the next 9 months that did it. Most of the aftershocks were over 6.0, so I got very earthquake sensitive. It is funny to think of NOW, but it wasn't then. ~hee hee~
As for "I Buy"...no one won, exactly. It was midnight and my poor husband couldn't keep his eyes open any longer, so we just stopped, plus Moriah was teething and needing her mommy's attention. But...the person with the fewest points was Jeremy at 25 points. My poor husband lost terribly bad, with Brother Jacob, myself and Sister Rebekah following and in that order.
You mean Rebekah wasn't winning!?!?! In all of the time I've known Rebekah which let me think 8-10 years yeah I've only one 1 game playing with her and that was Rummy Cube and she was the one who taught me ~hehe~
Thats what they were telling me today after a more major earthquake the aftershocks can be horrible and annoying.
