Please Accept My Apology

I feel the need to explain and apologize for something. Someone addressed me about my service on Sunday and they felt that it was inappropriate. Referring to the picture of Micah picking up Joleesa- as an example of one member burdens becoming another members burdens.

Let me start by explaining that I honestly did not intended to offend anyone, or hurt anyone. I asked the pastor, local church, and both Micah and Joleesa if any of them had a problem with it or if the illustration would offend them and they answered no. After thinking harder about how I should have done it I realized I missed the mark. I should have used Micah as my prop and had one of the other guys pick him up. I know as a minister/teacher that you should try to avoid using opposite sexes and if you need to try to keep it family. I thought about that and it completely skipped my mind to do it that way- all I was thinkening about was how to use Joleesa as the prop. Joleesa was short enough, Joleesa is my sister and so taping her mouth closed and tying her up with string was okay. I made a mistake.

I considered those who regularly visit my blog and didn't think any would be offended by it but I was wrong. So please accept my sincerest apology. By no means did I intended to hurt anyone. This is my sister and her reputation and Micah and his- I would NEVER!!!!! do anything to put either one of them in question.

It bothers me that someone would question me, the service, Micah, and Joleesa but at the same time I understand why. And I hope if there was more of that were bothered, offended or whatever word you want to use by it I am truly sorry

Very gracious and spiritually mature response to criticism, Jenna. God bless you. There are MANY people 2 or 3 times your age who have never learned to humble themselves in order to quench a conflict, regardless of whether they were at fault or not. God's got great things in store for you, girl.

Haha no Mandie you didn't step into anything- just trying to keep things smoothed out.

Thanks for stopping by- I'm loving Alaska and Anchorage is growing on me- its really big.

Thank you Sis. Smith- I didn't know what else to do and I figured it wouldn't hurt to explain and apologize- I just pray that whoever I've offended are willing to accept it.
