We started off the day Jessa, Mom, Dad and I having brunch at Denny's. Then Jessa went home and the rest of us went onto Wassilla and Palmer. As I said I was really excited to get out of town and be able to take some pictures.
Well we got outside of town maybe about 10 miles and it just started pouring down rain. Go figure! :-P I did take a few pictures hanging out the truck window and dad did pull off for me to take some of the Eagle River but the rain was bone chilling cold. I finally gave up so I curled up my jacket and slept. I was bummed but dad quickly changed that for me. Well not specifically for me but I was happy with it. He took us to Kincaid Park which is just behind the airport. WoW!! It wasn't raining in Anchorage but the wind was bitter cold so we didn't stay up there long but I love the pictures I did get.
All but the first one of these pictures were taking there. The second picture is of the Cook Inlet which is part of the Gulf of Alaska. Kincaid Park is where we would go to go Cross Country skiing which was cool to find out.
But there was this building there which would be perfect for weddings :-D and you can walk up on the roof and that's how I got the picture of the Cook Inlet. The rest of these were taken on a turn off road. So nice!!
It may have been gloomy day outside but I got some nice news when I got home. I applied at a large book store yesterday- actually it turned out to be the only application that I turned in. I had a message waiting for me to call them and set up a time for an interview. So Monday afternoon I think at 2:30 I have a job interview. So I desire your prayers. I'm excited about it the job application was so awesome to fill out. They asked me what my favorite book was and why; my favorite author was and why, my hobbies it was a fun application to fill out. This is round 4!! SO please please pray for me.

You got some awesome pictures. I love the bridge! Beautiful colors.
I really enjoy seeing your pictures. You got some great shots. Brings back good memories. :)
I love the one with the bridge too but my favorite is the one with the dock.
Thanks! I was so happy to just go and take pictures I loved it.
Bekah have you been to Kincaid Park before?? I can't wait for winter and go up there I think it will be cool
BEAUTIFUL pictures. I just LOVE Alaska! Brother Smith wanted to move to Seward. :-)
:-D You can come for a visit anytime- like you have the free time to just fly up here hehe :-D
We've been to Wasilla, Palmer, Eagle River and I believe thats all. Though traveling around Anchorage I feel like I'm going to different places. Anchorage is about about 17 Menomonies... ITS INSANE!!!
