I can't think of a title for the life of me...
Let me start with yesterday... I woke up rather confused at why mom was telling me to get ready for church and then I realized that it wasn't Saturday but Sunday. Working on Saturday messed up my mental clock I guess. Church was goood... Bro. Nowling finally got to cut Bro. Grants tie. We had no local visitors. Bro. and Sis. Mojan joined us and we loved having them but they themselves even declared that they weren't visitors. This meant that the team with the most team members present would win. So FINALLY Bro. Nowling got to experience how it is to cut someone's tie instead of the other way around because all of his team members were in church..
After service Tim, Micah and Josh came over for lunch and we had a yummy roast that mom fixed then... WE WENT ICE SKATING!! Oh so much fun. I had been begging to go for awhile and so we went to the Diamond Mall. I had never bent here its a different type of mall. Can't say that I've ever been to one that had an ice rink in the middle. The only complete I would have was the mass amounts of little kids. I was afraid I was going to run into one it was still lots of fun. The best part was I NEVER FELL!!!!

Tim, Jessa, Me, Micah and Joleesa having fun ice skating

That will make you dizzy fast.

Joleesa helping Mom skate- Mom did really well for having not skated in such a long time

Jessa gliding along the ice.

Micah and I well being Micah and I
It was so much fun and we didn't kill any kids

Micah trying to a graceful figure skater.... Trying is the key word
Joleesa being uh not so graceful hehe

Tim started an ice fight (instead of a snow ball fight lol)
Micah getting Tim back

I posted more pictures on my photo blog to show ya'll what a Winter Wonderland Alaska is. Oh and I talked to mom and dad though I don't know that dad was really paying attention hehe and in March if everything works out with tickets and everything I'll be visiting Jessy in March for my birthday !!! I'm so excited!!! on the not so great part is I don't think I'll be able to go to BTI this year. My boss made a comment today that I doubt I'll be able to get that off. I don't know how to explain it but I don't feel the same pull to go like I always have. I want to go to see people but thats not the right reason to go. I'm praying about it and I know that if I'm ment to go the Lord will make the way like He always has.
Well I'm gonna curl up with my iPod and my book- I'm not getting very far in it and its driving me nuts- I sooooo want to read but yet I can't seem to find the time to grrrr....
Well good night
♥ you all

Meg--Ice skating was actually easier than the four-wheeled variety, for me anyway. ~grin~
Jen--I've been to that mall and skated on that ice. I do hope they have learned to make the ice smooth. When we were there, it was so rough that it was difficult to stay upright. When you are in a skirt...the last thing you want to do is FALL! ~ha~ You guys looked to be having way too much fun.
I've ice skated and roller bladed sense I was little so I can't really remember which is harder- roller skates or the inlines/ice skates.
I didn't realize you guys have been up here. The ice was very smooth considering how man people were on it. Tim was wanting to stay and watch the zambone (sp) but we didnt. Its a rather small rink but lots of fun.
We had lived in Okinawa about two months when the boys and I jumped on a hop and flew to Anchorage to visit the Brown's and the Michaels'. That is where and when we met Larry. So...I've actually met your one way streets, visited a couple McD's and ice skated at that mall. Matter of fact, I'm almost positive that Mexican restaurant that you guys went to, the one you posted pictures of, is the one that we went to while we were there. We were there mid-July/mid-August and it was sort of rainy the whole time we were there, so I was getting depressed. I have that seasonal mood disorder thing which is why I would never let my husband put in for Alaska. I NEED sunlight and lots of it. Of course, now I live in a basement with two little west windows, so I might as well live in Alaska. ~grin~
