What a Week

The week is finally over or at least the work week is. We've been short handed at work and its been crazy. So short handed that the owners made a deal with us if we would take a 30 min break instead of an hour break they would buy and deliver us food. Its been good food too not fast food. Its made time go by real fast. Then yesterday I worked 12 hrs doing inventory and decorating for Christmas (8hrs paid- 4 on my own time but they bought supper and brought dessert and sparkling cider yummy)

Today was insane though we were crazy busy, Christmas decorations were every where and it was yet another day short handed. I think after this week I am rather comfortable with my job. hehe Every once in awhile I'll find something I dont know or don't think I know but thats why you ask questions. Its the best atmosphere I've worked in. It's wonderful working somewhere that every other word isn't a swear word. Today I didnt put my head phones in as I was working on my computer and I was playing Mark Shultz new cd (AWESOME CD btw) and Phil one of the guys at work came in and was like "I know who that is" He had his live cd which is also awesome but Mark Shultz talks about his time in the minstery. It may seem like a small thing but its such a big difference from where I've worked before. I seriously think that given the right activity and enough asking Phil and his wife will come out and possibly even Kristian. Which would be totally cool. My bosses are Mormon like seriously Mormon. They talk openingly about their church so I feel comfortable talking about :D Pray that I can be a good witness to them and that they see a difference in Josh and I.

Well as I said this week has been long and I'm tired. I wanted to make sure what is it being called the NARR wont come after me. I've taken a wonderfully relaxing bath. I've blogged and now Im going to finish the last few chapter of my Dee Henderson book... I love her books they are all so very different. This is so not like any of her other books its awesome. :D

Have a good weekend. I think we are going up to Alyeska I know some are wanting to go snowboarding but I dont have the proper winter gear for that so I think Im gonna pass this time but maybe I'll still go up and take pictures I think I dont know...

Anyways LOVE YA ALL!

The picture is from last weekend when we went to Alyeska before it opened up.

I like your picture. I just love it when the snow is just setting on the tree limbs. It is soooo pretty!

mmmmm.... Alyeska :)

Ok, now what is it with you people and the NARR? Are those fancy rats the next national threat? Lock and load boys, we're going rat hunting!

Hey now are you talking about real rats or talking about me ("blond rat" :P)

NARR (Neighborhood Association of Rules & Regulations) Sis Becki set it up for blogging.

One of the rules found some where in the blogger hand book-
“To do good and communicate—and blog at least twice a week—forget not…or else you’re kicked out of the club.” hehe

I dont think we're going to Alyeska after all its pretty cold out.

Bek- I know I love it to I have tons of pictures of the trees that way. Alyeska/Girwood reminds me of Narnia for real.

The first time the youth group went snowboarding, Jeremy and Darren didn't have the proper attire either. They went in their Dad's old BDU pants, layered shirts and Jeremy was wearing a nice leather dress jacket. At least Darren was actually wearing a winter coat. I don't think that Jeremy had gloves and Darren lost one while he was rolling head over heels down the mountain. At least they were wearing toques (tukes) aka toboggans aka stocking caps. ~hee hee~

The mental picture of that all is so funny.

Im terrified to go snow boarding...it looks so scary... I think I'll find away to stay at the bottom and take pictures.

I'm with you! I'm not getting on a snowboard. I tried to snow ski and almost had a total meltdown, so I'm done with anything more exciting than sledding. ~grin~

Im starting to get scared of even sledding- the last time I went sledding I walked away rather soar and I've got some colorful bruises left from it hehe

Its the hurt alittle part that doesnt sound so great because it probably hurt more then a little hehe

I'm one that it takes alot for me to try something new but once I do it I'm uselly fine and I enjoy it but this is taking more talking myself into it then anything else I've ever done.
