First off Saturday was my blogs First birthday and I'm at like 325 post or something like that- Happy Birthday my dear blog - okay enough being stupid
My weekend was actually quite eventful for a change - well the enjoyable kind of eventful for a change thats a better way of putting it.
Friday I got off work and was bummed that no one wanted to do anything so I called up Tim and asked if he wanted to go to the Alaska Club (its a gym) well by the time Tim got here- everyone was game on going. So Jessa, Joleesa, me, Tim and Larry went and played basketball. After about an hour we all kind of went our own ways in the gym to work out. Like running around a basketball court isn't work out enough. Joleesa, Larry and I got on the treadmills and did some serious running. I did a mile on the treadmill and then got on an Elliptical machine and did another mile. Oh it felt so good and needless to day I got a great nights sleep.
Saturday Jessa and I got up and went to breakfast together then picked up Larry and he and I worked out again- We were there for 2 1/2 HOURS! Oh my goodness that was insane- this time we went to a different Alaska Club so my plans to do weight training was scratched because I had no clue where in the club the Express Way was so I ran and ran and ran some more- have I mentioned I hate running- after about an hour I switched to the bikes and then to the elliptical machine- I did a total of 4 miles needless to say I couldn't move much after that and plopped myself in the lounge with my book and waited for Larry. Then got home and got dressed up in record time. Jessa, Joleesa, Mom, Codi and one of her friends decided we were going to have a ladies night and get dressed up and go out to eat. We went to this really nice restaurant called Little Italy- IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we met up with the guys at the house and played Catch Phrase... Until we were all so tired we were barely staying awake- the clock said it was only 10:30 pm LOL
Sunday we had church and Sunday night was Jessa's Missionary Service and it was really good. She had the "youth" read some scriptures and then asked our opinions on them and it seemed we were all in one mind because Col. 2:5-7 stood out in many different ways. I see us all doing all we can to become rooted and grounded in Christ.
Then yesterday Jessa, myself, Tim and Larry went back to Alaska Club and I ran a mile on the treadmill, 1/2 a mile on the elliptical machine and then did the Express way. With an Alaska club membership when you use the Express you get one on one with a trainer and you do a full body work out. I had the nicest trainer but he was evil- I would set the weights and he would come behind me and make me do more. There was only one machine I refused to do because it killed my shoulder to do. I was shocked though because I can do more weights then I would have thought...I feel good- though I think I'm gonna pass on working out tonight
Well its taken my whole lunch break to tell about my weekend...
Have a wonderful Tuesday!!!

I need you here to workout with. However, you can forget the treadmill...I get vertigo on those things. Give me the bike and the weight machines any day of the week and pile on the weights. I really miss my sister-in-law's bowflex that we were storing in our bedroom for her before we moved...every day, I worked out and I was losing inches and then we moved and the weight dropped off, but now the evilness is creeping back on. UGH! ~workout for me, okay!~
I just stopped by to compliment you on the BANG-UP job you did on Becki's blog! FANTASTIC! What a fun and surprising change.
Treadmills are dangerous for people like me so I don't use them much. ;-) My family and I started working out again this past Monday. It's been nice!
Happy Birthday Jenna's Blog! ;-P
Matt and Micah like to run... I personally don't like it, give me my bike any day, any season. Make me feel lazy, I spent my weekend riding my snowmachine :)
I'm w/ you on that Zay- a bike or rollerblades any day over running- my choice would be not to run lol- Go ahead and feel lazy :-) but I'd trade a day in the gym any day to be out on a snowMACHINE :-P
LoL- Gracie you aren't kidding the other day I watched a guy's feet almost go out from underneath him on the treadmill- I had all I could do not to laugh...they are dangerous things
Thanks Sis. Smith- when she asked me to do a new blog- first thing I thought of was that Wanted poster w/ the picture of the kids- I emailed her and she emailed me at the same time and we had the same idea :-D I'm so glad she likes it
Sis. Tammi- that would be fun to work out w/ you hehe I don't like going alone- I would miss a bowflex too - I would love to have my own personal place to work out- I'm so not a fan of the gym- but just in the last 3 days I fill a difference in my shoulder and thats the main point in going
