What a Week!

Monday was highly uneventful. Uneventful is always nice but then I have nothing to blog about lol. So Monday came and went with nothing interesting to say. Tuesday I got to enjoy Gilmor Girls in peace. It was just Dad and I home by ourselfs and he was busy doing something on the computer so I had no one picking on my show. :D So nice...it was short lived though :-P

I'm sitting all comfy on our couch watching my show, talking to Jared and Megan and I hear this tapping nose on the window I ignored it at first thinking it maybe just the window. Well it didn't go away so I got up and checked outside to see wha it was. After looking around and not seeing anything I went to close the door and go back inside when Tim popped out from behind the door scaring me to pieces. I'm not a big fan of being scared like that... so it didn't become funny until my heart stopped pounding out of my chest. After Gilmor Girls Tim and I met up with Mom and Jessa at Freddies (Fred Meyer) and then went downtown to see the ice sculptures. Do to the warm weather we've had some of them had melted into abstract art lol others it was clear what they were and what they were missing such as a bear with no arm lol
It was fun. The Park in the middle of downtown is all lite up with Christmas lights still so it was very pretty. It was a bit cold and then add to it playing on the ice we werent out long. We still had some time to kill before having to pick Joleesa up from work so I asked Tim if he would pull into one of the car dealerships here so I could show Mom and Jes the Jeep I want. Becoming 100% independant is my goal for the year. Which means moving out, getting this Jeep :-P or something along those lines and a few other things. Its not a New Years resulation but something Lord willing that I'll be able to accomplish this year.

I've already shared the highlight of Wednesday That raise is going to be really nice these next few months as I save and make sure BTI doesn't make me broke. Which brings me to Thursday I got Megan's and my hotel reservations made on my lunch break. That was fun and I don't mean it sarcastically either. The lady had a very strong southern accent and was very friendly. Anyone time I hear a southern accent it makes my day. I love it you'd think I would live in the South considering how much I love it down there yet I'm here in Alaska...*shurgs* maybe God will send me down there someday who knows lol. After calling several hotels that were listed in the Evening Light and talking to some very rude people that I couldn't understand and some of the hotels already being booked I talked to Megan and we went with Exclusive Quarters which I've stayed 2 out of 3 years. I'm glad to have those details taken care of. I also found online the matching wallet to my purse that I bought a few weeks ago so it was good lunch break. We've been busy this last week and the days have flown buy. Before I knew it Mom and Jessa were here to pick me up. We decided to try a new resturant that had some really reall good Italin food. Then did some shopping then called it a night. Or rather we would have liked to but some people just like to make things as diffcult as possible.

Its now Friday and I'm super tired but still functioning which is always a good thing. My Friday is shot- no painting the town red or anything like that when I get home me, my bed and my pillow are going to spend some time together.

I leave you with a picture of the Jeep I want

Hey Jenna really cool ice sculptures. I really like the jeep you want also. It sounds like the last few days have been very exciting.

Cool jeep...cooler pictures of the ice sculptures. Uhhh...wasn't your Mom and Jessa afraid that their lips would freeze to those ice sculptures?

We stayed at the Exclusive Quarters for the pre-Assembly Presbytery meeting. It is a nice place. If the lady you spoke to is the one I think it is...she is a sweetie!

Glad to see that you are going to BTI! Will be looking forward to seeing you there. Hopefully if things work out right, Kelley and Anna will be there with me. By the way, a raise is a good thing to get, even on Valentine's Day, but I got one better, my little Anna. Ha!

God bless

Sounds like things are going great up your way--glad to hear it!

James ALWAYS stays at Exclusive Quarters in Cleveland. Very nice and clean. He has a great working relationship with Mulan (I think that's his name--I'd have to ask James to be sure) and he always acts sooooooo excited to see us. He's the first Arabic guy I've ever met who had a southern accent--it's hilarious!
