My Day!

My day started out at 9am and went till about 7- I seriously felt like I worked a job today which was kind of nice. Dad and I had errands to run. Then I had to go to Captain Cook to get paper work form HR for HR and also the paper work for the drug test. Well there was no one in the Human Resource department so I went down to Accounting to talk to my boss to see what I was to do. Went to get paperwork ended up meeting just about everyone in my department-haha- They were all so sweet. I'm looking forward to working with them. Got the drug test taken care of. Then met up with Jessa to meet the land lord of the apartment we've been interested in for sometime now. It went really well we'll know tomorrow morning wither or not its ours. We could be moved out and into our own apartment and own bedrooms by next weekend. I pray this all comes together. I've forgotten what its like to have my own space, my own room. Mom and dad need this, Jessa and I need this. So between tomorrow morning and 2pm (AK time) Please pray for us!!

Here are pictures of our (maybe) apartment. I didn't think to take a picture of the outside but its a yellow color- slightly on the bright side lol.

A View of our living room just as you walk in the door.

A view of the living room from the hallway
it looks dark but the room is actually very bright and well lit
I love the way the light is in this apartment. Its like a glow to the place the way they have it.

Our Kitchen
The appliances are all new

My beautiful bedroom :-)

Our bathroom is HUGE- a dream for Jes and I lol

Still in the center of the bathroom this is the view from the other direction
There is shelving there to the right

We have a pretty large storage room/laundry but its all cement and not pretty so I didn't take any pictures of it lol

You've got a gas stove! Oh yeah! I prefer gas to electric...I'm one of the odd people. It looks great! I'll be praying!

Yeah I'm worried about that one lol- the only gas stove I've ever cooked on was Bekah and Jay's when they were in IL which was a rather long time ago... I'm worried I wont know how to use it...I predict a few burned meals lol

thanks!

they're awesome! you'll do great.

i am so anxious for micah and i to have a house all our own. i want to be able to use all my decorating tips that i've hoarded over the years and transform the little house into a mansion all our own. from a house into a home.

i hope the time goes by quickly.

but anyway. that is WONDERFUL about your job and house and everything. See? God's timing is perfect. You were faithful to Him and now He's showering you! Soak up the rain, hon.

Wow! That looks like a pretty schnazzy place! God's will be done.
I love gas stovetops, but hate gas ovens--they seem to dry out the baked goods. I haven't had good luck with them at all. Why don't they make a combo unit?

Jenna, gas cooks faster, so don't cook everything on high heat. Throughout the years, I've had to re-learn how to cook many times from switching between gas and electric and I usually burn something, but you'll quickly get the hang of it.

Sister Smith, they do make combos. Gas stove top with a convection oven, but they are expensive. I would pay the price...I loved my convection oven.

Wow! Your place is NICE! I love gas stoves, if I ever buy a new stove, that is what I would buy. Congratulations!
