I'm Leaving on Jet Plane

Don't know when I'll be back again.... actually I'm not sure what type of plane it is but its not a jet. I just happen to have that song in my head.

I'm in Seattle have been since about 3am uh um I think Pacific time- Alaska Time- I don't know I just realized that I'm now in a different time zone and in the continental 48...

Dad came to the airport with me last night. I felt like the lucky one I got to have someone with my at the gate to see me off. I like that privilege. While waiting we checked flight loads and it wasn't looking good 10 open seats but 13 nonrevs. scheduled that means 3 wont be getting on the flight and its chosen by seniority. Well obviously Jes doesn't have that because she just started. But she's not married and that turned out to be my ticket onto the plane. When an employee is not married they can choose someone to take that place- she chose me. Well a "spouse" has priority over parents or other family member. I was about the 4th standby person to be called on.

The flight wasn't the best one I was on but it also wasnt the worst one either. When I got into the airport with in a few minutes I was the only one left. So I curled up on several charges and got about 2 hrs of sleep. Then I changed clothes,washed up, got breakfast and now I'm just posting some of Jo's grad pictures on ringo so she can have access to them this weekend.

Well my flight leaves in less then an hour... I need to go check with the CSA to see if there is anything I need to do.

Then I think I'm gonna go get me a White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks - Im becoming addicted to those but I only get them from the coffee shop at work so we'll see if these are as good.
