After the mall we had time to kill so Tim asked if I wanted to go to Earthquake park. I was all for that- I had yet to see it during the winter. So Tim let Joleesa drive his Jeep and we headed out there. I was expecting to see open water- its the ocean after all... but it was cooler then that. About 20-30 feet out was ice covered but yet it was moving. Its probably one of those things that you've got to see in person to understand. I wasn't using my brain when we headed out there. If Downtown is horribly cold with ther fieriest, meanest wind then why would I think being down by the water was going to be any different. I could barely stand because the wind was so strong but I did manage to get a few pictures before wimping out.

On our way home we swung in and picked Devon back up. Then my family, Devon (Joleesa's boyfriend) and Tim all went and got some yummy Italian food and played some volleyball. When ended up playing Volleyball and a racquetball room which was interesting.

Mom, Jessa and Devon decided the only way to end the last game was "to do nothing" Devon did that quite well lol

Jessa about to serve the ball
Tim spiking it- it was to hard and ended up being out - for real out of the court

We had so much fun and laughed so hard. I did walk away with a nasty bruise on the palm of my hand that hurt so much- Dad kept saying suck it up and play. Then yesterday when he saw the bruise he was like I didn't realize it was that bad. Oh well I lived.

After volleyball Tim, Joleesa, Devon and I went to the movie rental place and got a movie to watch and then after that we called it a night because we had to get up early for the Iditarod. I got 5 hrs of sleep which I surprisingly was able to function on.
